The site for the proposed design was in Barcelona, the city of Antonio Gaudi. The design is a scaled, contemporary version of the catenary arches that were widely used by him. The arch was to span above the existing play area present on site to ensure that the exiting usage pattern of the urban site is not disturbed.
Within the building, the units open up to look and marvel at Sagrada Familia. The south facade is covered with adjusting Solar panels.
The Elevator is an interesting innovation in this design. The curve followed by it is not a circle or a parabola- it is a catenary. The particular mechanism allows it to travel on any given curve. Traveling in an elevator with such a curve also creates a Ferris wheel like effect, and gives a wide perspective of the space during ascent.
