The Non-Plumb Masonry Workshop was held at MMCOA for architecture students of the [Apr.2022-Aug.2022] to teach them an old but forgotten technique of building with arches, vaults, and domes as an alternative to concrete.
Most importantly, apart from promoting sustainable construction, the workshop allowed students to work side by side with skilled masons, helping them develop a deeper respect for the craftsmanship and hard work involved. This created a meaningful, hands-on learning experience that they will carry with them into their professional field.
