The curved, bulbous forms of the furniture are an echo of the brick arches and shells of the spaces. A combination of solid wood and veneer with brass highlights lends warmth and a hint of opulence to the otherwise earthy palette of materials.
The staircase chandelier is like a flock of birds rising from the ground. Metal sheets were cut to various sizes and bent to make wing-like light fixtures. The idea was to use the scrap metal derived from Engineering workshops to develop a product made by simple bending and slotting.
